Welcome to NILECAPD’s website, a platform dedicated to sharing our mission, initiatives, and the impactful humanitarian work we undertake.

NILECAPD is a South Sudanese humanitarian and social justice organization committed to serving individuals and communities in need. NILECAPD was established on the 14th June, 2014. At NILECAPD, our core objective is to address poverty, hunger, and promote peace, unity, and development in South Sudan. Our work is driven by the principles of compassion and the pursuit of social justice, with a focus on humanitarian endeavours.

As an organization, we are unwavering in our commitment to creating a society that upholds the principles of honor, respect, and equality for all individuals.

Our comprehensive range of programs and services encompasses various key areas, including Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Food Security and Livelihood Improvement, Health and Nutrition, Education, Child Protection, Social Justice and Gender Empowerment, as well as Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene initiatives.Through these efforts, we aim to uplift lives, empower individuals, and facilitate sustainable development.

How can you Donate?

The ongoing conflicts and war in South Sudan make it difficult to find long-term, financial partners. We invite you to support us with a one-time gift, or regular giving. We also welcome developing short-term and long-term relationships with like-minded donors. Your investment makes a huge difference in our people’s life.

Two easy ways to donate:

1. Visit us in person at Nilecapd Office and deliver your gift

2. Donations can be made through our partner organization, One Child’s Village, either in person or online using your credit card. You can make a one-time donation or pledge monthly, quarterly or bi-annually.

A tax-deductible receipt will be issued immediately upon submitting your donation. Please Make sure that you select our charity from the options while donating through One Child’s Village.

BAYAK CHUOL PUOCH

President and CEO

Bayak started his philanthropic career by working with different communities in and outside South Sudan. He has served as an organizational community leader in Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt, and Canada.He pioneered the establishment of NILECAPD in 2014 with an aim and passion of serving his fellow people in South Sudan.

He graduated from the University of Cavendish in Uganda with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. Mr. Puoch attained a certificate in Theology from the Middle East Reformed Fellowship (MERF) in Lokichogio, Kenya and is currently serving as a Spiritual Boot Camp (SBC) representative in the USA.
