Welcome message from our Founder and Executive Director
I take this opportunity to welcome you to NILECAPD’s website, where the public will be informed about our operations. I want to thank all of you on behalf of NILECAPD, and especially our donors and partners. NILECAPD has steadily been implementing its mission to advocate for and protect the rights of vulnerable people and promote equitable economic growth across the South Sudan Communities. We are committed to building the type of national organization that treats all people equally with honour and respect.
We help by offering the people of South Sudan Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Food Security and Livelihood Improvement, Health and Nutrition, Education, Child Protection, Mental Health and Psychosocial, Social Justice and Gender Empowerment, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Program.
COVID-19 has impacted and continues to impact our socio-economic status. However, as NILECAPD we are working around the clock to ensure continuity of our programs. We have enforced appropriate measures against the spread of the virus and we have ensured that our staff and the communities we serve are protected and safe.

Our recent transformative project activities have promoted an enabling environment for peace and cooperation, reconciliation, good governance, social justice and social-economic development.
Covid-19 Awareness at Juba - funded by Rotary Club of Calgary Downtown
Awareness campaigns on Covid-19, peaceful coexistence and basic human rights targeting 35,000 individuals among refugees and host community on FM radio station, posters, loudspeakers and Focus Group Discussions.
Training Program for Making FES Stoves - funded by Grace Community Church in the United States of America
Distribution of food and non-food items and capacity building to support vulnerable, internally displaced people. Host community and trainees being shown how to mix clay for making Fuel Efficient Stoves.
Providing Sanitations for South Sudan Women
NILECAPD has taken the responsibilities to assist in the widespread lack of feminine hygiene/sanitary products (pads) due to war and economic collapse and distributed over 1500 feminine hygiene/sanitary pads to women and girls within our geographical areas of focus.
Peace Building Program at Juba Civic Resource Center
Conflicts Mediation and Peace Building Training for the community Leaders and the youth training them to have more skills and knowledge on how to meditate, manage and to prevent conflicts between the community members.
